Cottonwood Cafe may have shuttered last month, but owner Craig Gillespie doesn’t think the concept is down for the count just yet, reports the Herald. He’s hoping to open a scaled down version, potentially to be called the Cottonwood Cantina, within the next three to six months in an as-yet undecided location.
In other Mexican restaurant news, the Scollay Square team’s proposed Fort Point fancy Mexican spot is now going to be a casual, “neighborhood-style” spot, given Todd Hall’s plans to open the upscale Pappa Gallo just a short ways away at Liberty Wharf.
