Community Boards Are Busting Deliverymen’s Lug Nuts

Seems the community boards have found yet another way to make restaurateurs pull their hair out— apparently all sorts of rules apply to bicycle delivery people (they have to wear helmets, reflective gear, and “upper body apparel” identifying their restaurant, and their bikes have to have bells, reflectors, and an identifying tag) and Community Board 7 is making sure those rules are followed by, in one instance, recommending the denial of applications for sidewalk cafes unless a restaurant is in compliance. But what would New York be without psycho bikers? It’d be like New York without Chinese food…
