Bauer Already Seems to Like Sons & Daughters

While maintaining his semi-fictional anonymity and his three-visit rule, Bauer has been teasing out reviews just days after dining at places for the first time, by way of blogging about dishes he likes. His post about the Marlowe burger preceded a three-star review, and his post about the goat at Meadowood came just a week or so before his four-star review of that restaurant. Today, he notes a “perfectly seared scallop” at Sons & Daughters served with “a veal tea with a strong herbal undercurrent” in a post titled “Four Places to Check Out This Weekend.” Is he getting impatient with wanting to share news of new restaurants? And don’t such teasers belie the fact that he kind of makes up his mind about a place right away, since he’s already telling people to go there? [Between Meals/Scoop, Earlier]
