French Vanilla Primary Casualty of Baskin-Robbins Flavor Genocide

By

In an ice-cream-flavor retirement unprecedented in scale, Baskin-Robbins is discontinuing a whopping five of its classic flavors, reports Slashfood. Caramel Praline Cheesecake, Campfire S'mores, Apple Pie la Mode, Superfudge Truffle, and gasp French Vanilla are all being knocked out of circulation to make room for new flavors, a promotion timed to coincide with the ice-cream chain's 65th anniversary. Put down your protest signs: The deaths are a done deal, and final tubs of each flavor have already shipped to stores. If you can't imagine a world without French Vanilla (and who can?), start stocking up. [Slashfood]
