Scottish spot The Haven will open in the former Jamaica Plain home of Zon’s on June 7, per a Craigslist job posting. Along with the ramp up to opening come a whole host of new details via The Haven’s blog, Twitter, and Facebook. To wit: The Haven’s menu will offer everything from haggis to tikka masala to a Scotch egg, a deep-fried hard-boiled egg served with house made tomato sauce. All this food will be served up until 1 a.m., seven nights a week. The Haven’s debut will just about coincide with the World Cup: seems like a pretty good soccer-watching headquarters.
