New York nightlife big shot Scott Sartiano is eying Back Bay spaces for a Boston outpost of either Butter or 1 Oak, says the Herald. If this actually happens, it’ll be a game changer for Boston’s nightlife scene: The New York versions of Butter and 1 Oak are trendier than any current Boston club, boasting tough doors, regular celebrity sightings, and mentions on Gossip Girl. A Butter rep confirmed that Sartiano and his partner Richie Akiva are interested in Boston locations, but wouldn’t provide any more information. Scott and Richie, if you’re looking, we suggest the former 33 space on Stanhope Street.
