With plans for a new UBurger, b.good, and a grilling restaurant called the Back Deck, Downtown Crossing is sure to become a great spot for burgers, reports the Herald. The UBurger on Tremont Street will be the chain’s third location, while b.good, which just opened its Hingham store last week, will open their eighth restaurant on Washington Street in August.

The Back Deck, a collaboration between chef Paul Sussman, formerly of Z Square, and Fajitas & ‘Ritas owner Bradley Fredericks, will bring the feel of grilling in the yard to an indoor restaurant. The “upscale casual” spot will feature food cooked over hardwood charcoal and a relaxing-on-the-back-deck atmosphere. The West Street restaurant should open sometime early next year, just in time to alleviate our winter blues with a taste of summer.
