Castro: The planned Trader Joe’s has run into an obstacle to its building takeover at 2280 Market Street: Radio Shack. The landlord wants to relocate The Shack and other tenants across the street, but so far they aren’t budging. [Examiner, Earlier]
Potrero: Papito, which we’ve been tracking for a good long while, appears to be mired in permitting, but hopefully will open in the next week or two. [Scoop]
Mission: More details emerge about B3, which Grub Street first noticed last week going into the former Janitzi/Senses space (1152 Valencia). [Mission Mission]

SoMa: The next Underground Farmer’s Market goes down tomorrow at SomArts, with a day market of “take-home-ables” from 11 to 4, and a night market with hot food and drinks from 6 p.m. to midnight. Admission is $2 this time.[UFM]
Lower Nob Hill: Contraband, a new coffee bar, is moving in to 1415 Larkin. [Eater]
Hayes Valley: Tablehopper first noted Fatted Calf’s move into a storefront in Hayes Valley, and now the Scoop has some more details, including plans for butchery demos and “a glass-walled walk-in to display whole carcasses.” [Scoop]
Mountain View: Sachin Chopra is no longer the chef at http://www.sakoonrestaurant.com/, and he’s pursuing his own thing. [Scoop]
