Cha Cha Chicken, Let’s Be Frank, Groundwork, and Mama’s Hot Tamales will be among the vendors serving the Santa Monica Festival, a zero-waste-principled celebration held tomorrow in Clover Park from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. There’s a whole host of sustainable activities and earthy bands, and while the food is not free, you could get paid to shoot and eat it. The festival is giving $50 to the best food photo taken at the event, as well as exposure for the piece on local city websites. So if you’ve been honing your foie-shooting skills at Gram and Papa’s over the last few weeks, this just might be your big break!
