As we just learned, Terrance Brennan and his chef de cuisine Ayesha Nurdjaja (who appeared on the infamous JoeDoe episode of Chopped back when she was at Il Bordello) have turned Bar Artisanal into Bar Artisanal Restaurant & Tapas Bar. In hopes of gaining a steadier following, the Tribeca spinoff of Artisanal has done some slight remodeling (some wrought-iron lattice work, etc.) and boosted its menu (which had some Spanish touches to begin with) with traditional dishes (patatas bravas and more), as well as a handful that nod to more contemporary cooking (potato foam, anyone?). The wine list now boasts 50 Spanish wines by the bottle and ten by the glass, and there are sangrias, too. Peruse the menu below.
