A couple of hotly anticipated, smartly designed projects have lifted the veil: St. Anselm, the meat-nificent sister of Spuyten Duyvil and Fette Sau that we took you inside of a month ago, is now serving lunch, according to Gothamist. Owing to licensing snafus, it won’t start dinner till next Monday, and the full menu we showed you earlier won’t be in effect until the liquor license comes through. In the meantime, settle for sliders, deep-fried hot dogs, and Newark-style Italian hot dogs. Meanwhile, the hot dogs are free over at Painkiller.

Eater has photos of the new tiki bar from the guys at Dutch Kills, which they say opens at 6 p.m. tonight (no answer when we called 212-777-TIKI). Fork in the Road talks to bartender Giuseppe Gonzalez about his plan to use fresh juices, “a lot of flowers,” and housemade passion-fruit syrup, grenadine, and Curaçao.
