It appears the new project that chef Ryan Scott hinted he’d be “rolling out” soon will be getting an unveiling tonight at the Cinco de Mayo block party at Aventine (582 Washington Street). As City Dish tells us, the Top Chef season 4 chef-testant will be bringing his “taco truck” to the event, which is being hosted by Vintage 415.

Though we expect Scott’s regular mobile operations to be less Mexican in the future, today’s festivities dictate, obviously, a taco menu.

The Aventine block party kicks off at 5 p.m. with live music and, later, a DJ. There’ll be $8 margaritas and $8 premium tequila shots, and if you mention City Dish during the first hour, you’ll get $2 off your shots.
