The liquor license for Qi Ultralounge (917 Folsom) has cleared, and the replacement for rock bar Annie’s Social Club is certain to be less rock-n-roll and more models-n-bottles — aspiring models, at least, from Pleasanton and the outer ‘burbs. Grub Street first heard the news back in January, and now with the right to serve booze the place should be opening pronto — assuming, that is, that the upholstered walls and designer vodka display shelves are all finished and polished.
