We’ve been keeping an eye out for the debut of Papa’s Tapas Truck, and though the truck tweets that there have been “many delays,” it is still eying this weekend for its public unveiling. Stay tuned to these Spanish gourmets’ Twitter feed for updates, but as of now it looks like the truck-side tapas will be available at Silver Lake Jubilee this Saturday and Sunday. There it will join over 30 other food trucks and additional vendors like Mardy’s Munchies and Peanut Girls. An entire lineup is on the Jubilee’s site. In the meantime, where do you get fresh frozen treats from a private chef on a bike?

Tasting Table introduces us to Popcycles!, the brainchild of John Cassidy and private chef Michelle Sallah, who also cooked at Spotted Pig and Bar Marmont. Cassidy is hitting Hollywood by bike to peddle (and pedal and pedal) popsicles that Sallah crafts from farmer’s market fruit and spices, and organic sugar. Current flavors include salted cucumber and lime, grapefruit-chamomile, orange with blackberries, and strawberry-lemon. The three-dollar goods arrive via an orange, custom-built two-wheeler that plans to stick to Hollywood, Larchmont, and Silver Lake. Keep your eyes on its Twitter page to find out where the next stop might be.
