If you need any additional indicators to tell you that the future of Philly food is on the streets, consider this: The folks at Foobooz just launched a new Twitter feed for the sole purpose of tracking the growing number of food trucks that tweet. Yesterday Mojo Gourmet Coffee was the latest to enter the four-wheeler foray with coffee, breakfast and lunch specialties served at its spot on 38th Street between Locust and Spruce. Joining it soon will be Jose Garces’ taco truck and South Philly’s Bebe Barbecue, which recently acquired an old Tastykake truck. To borrow a phrase from C.W. McCall, it looks like we’ve got us a convoy. [Foobooz]
