Weiner Circle wins this round.
We’ll be honest and admit we were a little skeptical about Rachael Ray’s planned “Rival-Ray” on her show today to pick the best hot dog in Chicago, but she did do her research. All three finalists–Superdawg, The Wiener Circle, and Jimmy’s Red Hots–represent completely different strands of the Chicago hot dog eating experience. And the best part? She had former resident, Jerry Springer pick the winner. He seems to be working on his best Woody Allen impersonation at the moment, and reveals some strange judging criteria: “There’s no way I was going to have a woman come in third.” But he eventually crowns Wiener Circle the champ.
