Greg Morris Opening Olive Kitchen at The Grafton on June 1st

Greg Morris, the owner behind The Belmont, Oak Fire Pizzeria, Spanish Kitchen, and Oaks Gourmet, is opening The Olive Kitchen and Bar next Tuesday at The Grafton Hotel on Sunset Blvd. The hook here is a menu supposedly well-suited to the fact that everyone has become a lot broker since the hotel first opened, with casual fine-dining “at a reasonable price,” according to a press release. The food is fresh produce-driven Italian with California flavor in plates like grilled prawns wrapped in pancetta, Tuscan ribeye with truffle butter, sole picatta, and baked lasagna bolognese made-to-order for dinner, as well as pizzas, salads, and antipasti. There will be breakfast service with Meyer lemon ricotta crepes and panini for lunch alongside brick-roasted chicken in grappa rosemary jus. The exact costs are still being determined, we’re told, but in the meantime, we have the full lunch, dinner, and drinks menus below to get you started. Bon appetito!
