Details are slowly trickling out on The Haven (nee Wee Angel), set to take over the old Zon’s space. “Scotland is the home of comfort food and we aim to pay tribute to that tradition - but add a wee bit spice,” promises The Haven’s website, which describes the cuisine as “Scottish gastropup” accompanied by craft beer and live music. On the menu, per the Haven’s Twitter: tikka masala, lots of bacon, and, hopefully, haggis. Between this and Canary Square, the Perkins-adjacent microneighborhood of Jamaica Plain is having quite the restaurant renaissance! The Haven is currently planning to open on June 1.
