Following the recent addition of chef Roger Hayot, Angel’s Piano Bar and Supper Club is starting a happy hour program with bar snacks priced between three and six dollars alongside discount drinks. Expect $12 pitchers of sangria this summer, two-for-one well drinks, and five-buck margaritas. To instantly cure both the blues of the working man and those on a budget, Angel’s “relief special” consists of a PBR with a shot for five-dollars. To nibble on, you’ll find plates of chopped pork and slaw sliders, house-made chorizo and Italian sausage, and plantain tostones among the small selection of interesting eats.
