Mireille Guiliano, author of French Women Don’t Get Fat, will be the centerpiece of a caviar-rich dinner at Petrossian on May 3rd. The scribe will be there to sign her new book, Women, Work, and The Art of Savoir Faire, a guide to the good life for today’s hard-toiling woman. Guests will experience a three-course tasting menu by the restaurant’s super-talented toque, Benjamin Bailly, with signatures like caviar surprise with king crab and apple jelly. Guiliano will partake in dinner, then throw in a signed copy of her book, while the restaurant adds a glass of champagne for the $125 per person price. Reservations must be made at 310-271-0576, and remember what country you’re in, because nobody is guaranteeing you won’t get fat here.
