Chalk another up to “tough economic times.” Phil Vettel gives the eulogy for Va Pensiero, a high end restaurant in Evanston, which he believed served as “one of the area’s finest Italian restaurants since it opened in 1989.” Though their website still says “temporarily closed for remodeling,” the official last day was Easter Sunday.
