The Grand Central Oyster Bar’s executive chef Sandy Ingber (shown above) tells us that after a long winter, he’s received the first catch of soft-shell crabs, and the sweet “whale”-size crustaceans are currently available pan-fried in garlic-herb butter for $30.95 (expect dozens more preparations as the season progresses). Elsewhere on the menu, Midtown Lunch notices that one of its Oyster Bar faves, lobster gazpacho, is back in the lunch rotation.
