If any outfit were to launch a line of cupcakes inspired by the neighborhoods of New York, obviously it would be Germany’s McDonald’s franchises. The four varieties each have a corresponding friendly, youthful neighborhood mascot. The East Village’s cappuccino cupcake is accompanied by a bucket hat–wearing hipster, Chelsea’s chocolate cupcake has a preppy-looking dudebro, Soho gets vanilla and a lady dressed for casual Friday, and Central Park’s strawberry confection is embodied by a trendy girl with an asymmetrical haircut. Like we said, obviously. [McCafe Germany via BurgerBusiness]
