Back in January, we wondered if it was worth spending $42,000 on culinary school. The French Culinary Institute enlisted three students to help answer that question with a new blog called Food 2 School. Sarah is on the classic culinary track (that’s the one that costs $42,600); Allen is a real-estate agent taking night classes to turn his passion for Korean food into a new career; and Molly abandoned her desk job for the allure of the pastry kitchen. Watch our three culinary heroes as they say “humbug” to student loans and “hooray” to the high-paying, glamorous world of professional cooking. Maybe if they don’t make it, they can start a food blog.
