Daniel’s Bar and Bistro Lands at Tom Bradley Terminal Today

Construction is finally finished on the arrival level of LAX’s Tom Bradley Terminal today which coincides with the opening of Daniel’s Bistro and Bar, a new restaurant under the guidance of chef Darrell A. Smith II, who trained under both Kerry Simon and Marius Blin before starting his own catering company. Daniel’s, named for the family of owner Clarence A. Daniels, who owns five other LAX restaurants, will provide a place for people landing in the country as well as the patient people waiting to pick them up. Expect pizza with prosciutto and grapes, breakfast panini, sandwiches, salads, handmade crepes, and an Espresso bar with cocktails and coffee. There’s also a bar for wine and beer. Unfortunately, Daniel’s website doesn’t list prices, but being the airport, we expect them to raise our ire.
