Brookline Health Department Draws The Line

Always wondered what, exactly, would make Brookline’s notoriously lax Health Department shutter a restaurant? Washington Street’s Yokohama found out last month, reports the Brookline TAB. The sushi spot was closed after inspectors found syringes and pills in the kitchen, food stored at improper temperatures, and a restaurant “cluttered with full and empty beer cans, books and other items.” Don’t worry, though: Yokohama was allowed to re-open for dinner that very day.
