Anthem Plays Again in Faneuil Hall

Anthem, the much-loved Garden bar that closed in 2007, has reopened in Faneuil Hall, reports Thrillist. Anthem now lives in the former home of Plaza III, and it’s a big home: 321 seats, five dining rooms, and a twelve table greenhouse balcony. The food is the standard upscale comfort: wood-grilled pizzas, chorizo-spiked meatloaf, and, of course, lobster mac & cheese. The cocktail list leans toward ultra-sweet vodka drinks: think a chocolate vodka and white creme de cacao concoction called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. For those with less of a sweet tooth, 25 beers are available.
