Anisette Celebrates Rhône-Alpes At Dinner This Week

Photo: Anisette

Last fall we showed you what Anisette prepared for a week-long celebration of Basque food, part of the restaurant’s seasonal series that highlights the regional cuisine found within France. Through this Saturday, Alain Giraud’s Santa Monica brasserie has a menu that celebrates the food of Rhône-Alpes, the eastern border region that is practically as famous for bistros, Bocuse, and Beaujolais as it is for the river and mountain range that gave it its names. A three-course prix-fixe is naturally strong on cheese, and offers roasted guinea fowl in the style of Lyon or white fish with Côte du Rhône sauce, as well as dessert, though dishes can be ordered a la carte. Served for $38 per person, the full menu is below and reservations can be made at 310-395-3200.
