Garlic ‘n Lemons, a Lebanese fast food spot, will open in Allston on Thursday, reports Thrillist. Garlic ‘n Lemons comes from two former Aceituna Cafe chefs and will offer falafel, a “burger” (read: ground kefta patty), and more kebabs than you can shake a stick at (including, per the restaurant’s Facebook page, one made of alternating rounds of eggplant, and spicy hamburger). The restaurant will stay open until 3 a.m. nightly.
Here’s where it gets interesting: Garlic ‘n Lemons will be located at 133 Harvard Avenue, mere blocks away from existing late-night Middle Eastern spot Azama Grill. Will two late-night kebab spots prove to be one too many for Allston or can you never get enough drunk hummus?
