Rialto will soon open a 35 seat patio, Jody Adams tells Grub Street. The patio, set to open in early May, will function as an extension of the dining room, with both the a la carte and bar menus on offer. In other Rialto news, Adams tells us that Brian Rae, a StarChefs 2008 Rising Star chef for his work at Las Vegas’ RM Seafood, has taken over for Nuno Alves as co-sous chef alongside Andrew Herbert.
As for her forthcoming stint on Top Chef Masters, “I had a ton of fun. I loved the camaraderie among the chefs, the Bravo team was professional, supportive and jolly; and I pushed myself in the kitchen harder than I knew I could. But most importantly, I had the opportunity to raise dollars for Partners In Health, an organization close to my heart for the amazing work they do for the poor.” Top Chef Masters premieres on April 7.
