We don’t think Pitfire Pizza is enjoying the harvest of its edible garden yet, but exec chef Michael Ainslie just rolled out new spring specials at the four locations of our new favorite pizza and salad spot. There’s avocado, coleslaw, and gouda in a BBQ chicken panini, artichokes and cherry tomatoes on pizza, and salads and veggie plates bursting with pine nuts, asparagus, fennel, goat cheese, fresh mozz, and other supplies from spring gardens and farmers. We’d go just to try a new pizza with pineapple, charred poblanos, and country ham from Benton’s in the Appalachians, plus a pasta with rapini pesto and pepperonata. Available at all four locations through spring, see the full menu below.
