Rittenhouse steakhouse Barclay Prime has landed a new chef - Jason Hanin, formerly executive chef of Chelsea Prime, a steakhouse in the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City.
Chelsea Prime started out as a Stephen Starr restaurant before Starr and the the hotel’s developer Curtis Bashaw amicably parted ways last September. Hanin and former Barclay chef James LoCascio worked together on the Chelsea Prime opening; LoCascio left Barclay back at the beginning of February to spend more time with his family. According to a Starr rep, the menu remains the same for now.
