Lola’s, home of a zillion martinis, including the new caffeinated “Sid Vicious” and one that tastes like garlic mashed potatoes, is holding a special dinner tonight announced on its website with a provocation that “Wine tastings are for sissies.” We’re sure Maynard James Keenan and his crew of extreme vinters disagree, but nonetheless we clicked on the link to find the WeHo lounge pairing its famous martinis with an enticing menu. Dishes like a coffee-crusted rib-eye, chile-marinated halibut in a banana leaf, and espresso drowned peanut butter ice cream find company among drinks like the “dirtiest of dirty” martinis, one with Godiva white chocolate, and the “Pulp Fiction.” This four-course, four-drink dinner costs $55 per person, and starts at 5:30 P.M., with reservations available at 323-654-5652.
