Win Tickets to the Debut of Downtown’s First & Hope

Monday, March 29th will see Downtown’s anticipated supper club First & Hope open its doors, prior to its official grand-opening, for “Red Rover, Red Rover,” a mixology celebration clearly influenced by The Edison’s Radio Room. Much like that recently revived happening, Red Rover is bringing cocktail masters from other cities, namely Erick Castro of San Fran’s Rickhouse, John Lermayer from Miami’s Delano, Misty Kalkofen from Boston’s Drink, and Soho House’s Juan Sevilla, to mix their own creations while live bands and DJs play and Tony Abou-ganim signs his book, The Modern Mixologist. While the event is open to the public at 7:00 P.M., one lucky Grub Street reader will win two free tickets to Monday’s event that will ensure a prompt entry. How do you enter?

To enter, tell us in 150 words or less about who you would create a cocktail for, what would be in it, and what you would name it. Get your entries in by 4:00 P.M. this Friday, March 19th. Our editors will vote on which answer they find the most clever and pick a winner for First & Hope’s Red Rover, Red Rover event, to be announced the morning of Monday, March 22nd. Send your entry to us over email and see our official contest rules here. Good luck and thanks for playing!
