Rose-gin in chocolate for the feminine, mezcal for the macho
The Bazaar is giving its usual unusual spin to Valentine’s Day by serving “His and Her” cocktails. Ignoring the old adage that “gin makes a young girl cry,” the ladies’ libation holds a rose and gin mix served inside of a cup made entirely from chocolate and wrapped in the petals of a real red rose. And remember chef Jose Andres’ recent love affair with Del Maguey mezcal? Bazaar is going straight up with the stuff, serving the small-batch, small village-brewed beverage inside of a simple clay cup for the fellas. Served Sunday only.
