Our pal Daniel from EveryBlock has spotted two new openings coming up: University Village is getting a place called Vintage Lounge, going in at 1447-49 W. Taylor, about which little is known except that they’re in for a liquor license (thanks for the totally un-googleable name, guys). And the mysterious Cafe 1.61 is coming just a few blocks down the street — what does that title mean? Is it a bible verse? An IP address? The golden ratio with the final digit dropped? (Couldn’t be — the rectangle in its logo doesn’t adhere to those dimensions.) So many questions! [Derivative Works]
