Sure no one’s watching and want to pig out on hot dogs and ice cream? Squid Ink points us to frozen treat freak Farah Gast, who opened Tarzana’s Cookie Munch this month. Her pastel-striped candyland was inspired by floats and sundaes at Fosselman’s and Farrell’s, and serves Dreyer’s on freshly-baked cookies in a nod to Diddy Riese. Cookie Munch supports a local Little League Team and apparently local dentists, as its specialties include a serving of ice cream with Pop Rocks called “pop-cream,” as well as gourmet popcorn and cheesecake. 18641 Ventura Blvd. Tarzana. 818-457-4493.
