Chef Chris Hora reaches out to tell us he is now cooking his “Central European globetrotter”-inspired cuisine in the kitchen at Silver Lake’s SiLa Bistro, despite one passionate Grub Street commenter saying that both “Whora [sic] and Oral will never be.” Well, they were right about the latter at least, as Hora tells Grub Street he is “working on a name and a concept that will support the menu.” A good call on scratching “Oral” off his list of working names. Currently, the Spago/Root/Crustacean alum is preparing brunch and dinner six days a week, starting with the dinner menu we showed you last month. As for the nasty comments directed his way, Hora clarifies, “The current [SiLa] owners are wanting a partnership now…[The commenter] is a loser with nothing better to do.”
