Chronic Tacos might not have made it back to West L.A. after their summer shutter, but Rob Sleehoff, who owns Chron locations in Corona del Mar and Huntington Beach, has a new burger venture slated to open today in H.B. called Bomburger. A menu hasn’t made it to their website, which looks to have been “inspired” by Shepard Fairey, with two-times the befuddled artistic intent. The Soviet-era lettering bares a bomb icon in the letter “O,” while above it a double-double is targeted by a flashing red and white border that scarily resembles the flag of a certain country the U.S. nuked. Ai! While we wait to see if burgers come in “Fat Man” and “Little Boy” sizes, Fast Food Maven confirms that this Bomb is dropping a limited menu concept similar to the burgers and shakes at In-N-Out, with similar aspirations to build a SoCal chain, but with a twist of serving breakfast. Bomburger’s sights are set on Costa Mesa and Newport next.

Update: Bomburger opens Friday, menu like In-N-Out [Fast Food Maven/OC Register]
