Alex Jackson Reveals Details of the Upcoming Black Sheep Pub

Alex Jackson, the current chef at The Corner and Weird Fish, will soon be adding a third enterprise to his empire called The Black Sheep Pub. Jackson and his partners at The Corner, who prefer to remain in the background, are negotiating for a space within a stone’s throw of Jackson’s other two restaurants, which will be a restaurant with a full bar, a bar menu served until 2 a.m., and a constant prix fixe of $32 for four courses. “Like the Corner,” Jackson says, “it’s going be a great price for the quality of the ingredients and technique behind the food. It’s obviously not pub food, but the décor and vibe will be that of a pub.”

Below are sample menus for the months of August and November. Jackson hopes to have the place open by summer.

Incidentally, we and The Tablehopper mistakenly reported that Jackson had left The Corner to take the reins at Weird Fish, and that is not the case. He remains the exec chef at both restaurants.
