This new South Indian joint has taken the spot of the former Naan ‘n’ Chutney at 474 Third Street, and the early Yelp reviews range from “great!” to “It’s cold in there!” to “TRY THE COCONUT RICE!” As of this week, Ruchi has scored a license to sell beer and wine, so you’ll be able to enjoy a little Riesling with your saag paneer and lamb curry. And word has it that the chai is free, the tapioca rice pudding could use some work, and the naan and house-made chutneys are excellent.
