Outdoor Smoking Banned at Restaurants and Food Trucks

Sorry smokers, you’ve just lost your rights to the open-air as L.A. City Council voted unanimously to ban smoking within ten feet of outdoor dining areas and 40 feet of food trucks. While we wonder if there are enough smokers in L.A. to cause a riot, the burden will also go to the city’s door people and bouncers to enforce it. In any case, you have a year to smoke ‘em while you got ‘em before being slapped with a $250 fine. [L.A. Times]
