Beehive co-owner Darryl Settles is the mystery restaurateur looking to open in Fort Hill, reports the Herald. This means that, sadly, our guess of Chris Douglass was not right (though we did find out that he’s back on the line at Ashmont Grill!). Settles’ proposed restaurant, Legend’s on the Hill, is seeking a 2 a.m. closing time — a tough sell for such a residential neighborhood, which might be why Settles withdrew plans to pitch Legend’s to the neighborhood this week. Prior to Beehive, Settles ran Bob’s Southern Bistro for seventeen years.
