The Marino family, owners of Il Grano, Marino Restaurant, and Bottega Marino locations, will serve a special collaborative menu with side-by-side cooking from “Mama” Maria Marino and son Sal. Mama will represent Marino Restaurant with dishes that reflect the traditional Neapolitan cuisine served at their flagship Melrose space and Sal will showcase the modern cooking found at fancy Il Grano in West L.A. Holding this family affair together is brother/son Mario Marino, who will choose the wines to pair. The four courses center on Maria’s filetto Sinatra, a filet with sautéed peppers and red wine sauce, while Sal will balance it with a grilled striped bass with black garlic sauce. The $55 per person dinner is coming to Il Grano on January 26th and to Marino on January 27th. The full menu is below.
