Rodent Infestation Continues in Capitol Cafeteria

Aramark has apologized, but apparently they haven’t really cleaned up their act in the PA Capitol Building cafeteria. It failed a second inspection this past week after getting nailed for “rodent droppings ‘too numerous to count,’” among other unsavory violations, during an inspection back in December. Coincidentally, this happened just as an Aramark VP was apologizing the the House for the first round of violations. Probably not related at all: Aramark’s political action committee contributed $20,000 to Rendell’s gubernatorial campaign in 2001 and 2002 and its CEO contributed $15,000 to Rendell since 2006. Aramark has had the cafeteria contract since 2004.
