Upper East Side Restaurant Inspires Unappetizing Movie

Didnt think there could be a dumber restaurant comedy than the truly horrible Waiting...? Well, a contender for the title, The Slammin Salmon, comes out tomorrow. Its set in a Miami restaurant, but a Moviefone interview with director Kevin Heffernan reveals that three of the writers (members of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe, and the geniuses behind Beerfest) got material while working together at Busbys on the Upper East Side. If the trailer is any indicator, its no wonder Busbys no longer exists (it was replaced by Caf 92, and then Joannas, and then Paolas).
