There Are Now Eldridge Baseball Caps

What would be the cherry on top of your White Castle “couch pouch” or your “Avoid the Noid” T-shirt? How about a baseball cap celebrating the Eldridge and its $26 drinks? Matt Levine’s hospitality group, ML Creative Group, has teamed with New Era to make 144 of these lids, and they’ll be “exclusively distributed by The Eldridge” — to folks like Think PR’s Claudine Gumbel, photographer Jerritt Clark, and DJ Manero. So don’t even think about trying to find them in Chinatown. Question to the Eldridge’s doorman: Would this make it a cinch for someone to get in, or does it mean they’re trying too hard?
