Tod Schaffer, the Brookline man who collected $36,000 in damages from local restaurants on bogus tooth injuries, has been ordered to pay the money back and stay away from the restaurants in question, reports the Brookline TAB. After legitimately biting into a piece of plastic at one restaurant, Schaffer hit up twenty others, saying he had bitten into a rock or piece of glass and filing for damages. In addition to his restaurant-based restitution, he has been sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours of community service.
