Fake MTA Twitter points out (via Gothamist) that a local Subway franchise location seems to prefer MTA employees over city schoolteachers: MTA folks get a 20 percent discount all day, but teachers can only take 10 percent off. Meanwhile, the comments section is busy adjusting MTA and Board of Education salaries, calling the discount in favor of the teachers. [Gothamist]
