This evening Varga Bar releases its 2010 pin-up calendar, which is chock full of local ladies posing in the tradition of the Varga Girls from which the bar takes its name. They’re hosting a party from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., during which time there will be an hour-long open bar with passed hors d’oeuvres. The Vargans are not revealing when exactly the open bar will begin, so you’ll just have to show up at 9 p.m. and wait for it. The calendars, which normally run $20, will be on sale for $10 during the party. Let’s hope this pin-up calendar doesn’t have the same scandal-ridden backstory as the one put out by New York’s Cafe Habana.
